About the Neighborhood
Sprecher East is a residential neighborhood on Madison's Far East Side, bounded by Milwaukee Street to the south, Sprecher Road to the east, Cottage Grove Road to the north, and Femrite Drive to the west.
Our neighborhood includes several subdivisions — Meadowlands, Door Creek, and Reston Heights — all united by a shared commitment to community connection.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is holding public hearings to gather community feedback on major corridor improvements to I-39/90/94. Residents are encouraged to participate — in person or virtually.
We've refreshed our neighborhood website to make it easier to find events, news, and resources. Sprecher East has been a great community since 2006 — and we're excited to keep growing together.
